The check-up is carried out for diagnostic and preventive purposes, and the results are discussed with a specialist.
Preparation
- Do not eat for 2–3 hours before the test
- Water is allowed
- Exclude thyroid hormones and iodine (in consultation with a doctor) 72 hours prior
- Exclude steroid hormones 48 hours prior
- Avoid stress and physical activity
- Do not smoke 3 hours before the test
Important information
Inform your doctor about taking antibiotics, hormonal, and other medications. If there are complaints, the examination may be carried out on any day as recommended by a specialist.
