Preparation
Blood test in the morning on an empty stomach (12 hours)
Exclude thyroid hormones and iodine 72 hours prior (in consultation with a doctor)
Exclude steroid medications 48 hours prior
Avoid alcohol, fatty foods, and physical activity 24 hours before
Do not smoke 3 hours before
Saliva:
- Avoid coffee, alcohol, and spicy food for 24 hours
- Do not brush teeth 3 hours before collection
- Do not smoke 1 hour before
- Collect in the morning (07:00–09:00)
Important
If there are complaints, the examination may be carried out on any day without preparation, but you must inform the doctor about chronic conditions and any medications you are taking.
