- Do not smoke for 3 hours before the examination.
- Still water is allowed.
Before giving urine
- Collect the morning midstream urine sample.
- Let the first stream pass.
- Collect 50–100 ml of urine in a sterile container.
- Perform hygiene of the external genital organs before collection.

Inform your doctor if you are taking antibiotics, hormonal medications, or other drugs. If you have complaints, the examination may be carried out on any day based on the specialist’s recommendation.
