Preparation
- Blood test on an empty stomach (at least 12 hours)
- Avoid fatty foods 24 hours before
- Avoid physical and emotional stress 30–40 minutes before
- Exclude (in consultation with a doctor):
- thyroid hormones
- steroid medications
- iodine-containing medications — 72 hours before
- Do not smoke 3 hours before the test
Important information
Inform your doctor about taking antibiotics, hormonal, and other medications. If there are complaints, the examination may be carried out on any day as recommended by a specialist.
